Speed School

Be able to think on the move (Dynamic Working Memory) is crucial to any performance.  Processing information while still being aware of your surroundings can benefit in your effort as well as preventing mistake or injury.  This drill requires the participant to read, react and recognize using cognition through grammar nouns/verbs and assigning it to a color, all while running full speed changing direction and position.  

-Cone should be between 10-20 yards apart

-4-8 words (can be mixed in many variations)

-Measure how long it takes to complete and correct ball placements

-Analyze participants demeanor and approach to drill

-Promotes working memory

-Pattern Recognition

-Agility

-Anaerobic Conditioning

-Builds working memory capacity (being able to manipulate information to make decisions)
